Many of you have been asking for previews of the Home Study Courses. We want you to know that we've listened and have been working hard at it. The Freedom Course, Awareness Course , Movement, and Horseman Course previews are all available. They are designed to give you a feel of Dennis' teaching and demonstration style as well as seeing what you can expect as you start your Universal Horsemanship journey with your horse.

The Reis Ranch Universal Horsemanship® Mentor Series is a home study program created by renowned horseman Dennis Reis. Dennis' program encompasses all breeds and all riding disciplines. These courses represent the Reis Ranch five-day Freedom course, nine-day Awareness, twenty-four day Movement and seventy-two day Horseman's course.
The courses are organized around 9 key components, created and developed by Dennis' lifetime of knowledge with horses. Each course includes classes in Round Pen, Ground School, Mounted, and Mounted Refined. Dennis has assigned tasks to each of the classes. The skill level for the tasks increases as you move through the courses and are unique and appropriate for objectives of that course. Each course builds one upon the other and lays a foundation for the next level of achievement. All of the courses include videos or DVD's featuring Dennis Reis demonstrating each task, a workbook/manual, and four laminated Key Component cards for use while working with your horse in the arena. The workbook gives the objectives, a detailed description and photographs of each task. As you and your horse master the tasks, you will enhance your relationship, increase safety and learn to communicate with each other impeccably.
With new increased awareness you will coordinate movement more effectively, learn the skills needed to handle many situations and develop the athletic potential of your horse. Horsemanship is a lifelong developmental process.
